Wow, where has the time gone?

Oh man, so it would seem that I have not been updating this here blog that often, but I do "tweet" a decent amount. So for now, I would suggest following me on twitter at http://twitter.com/lunarc.

What have I been up to you say? Well, I have moved onto doing baby clothes, printing with new techniques, exhibiting at the San Diego Comic Con 2009 and trying to find some time to sleep. Well that is about it! Expect more awesome, big things, coming soon!

Art around adams

Hey people, I will be at Art Around Adams this Saturday (June 6th) all day! Feel free to stop by my booth. I will be in the exhibition area with another friend of mine Jere Dean. This is a huge music and art festival and tons of cool stores stay open feature artists inside! Come out, this is a free event to walk around and I think there is some scratch involved with a few shows. I will be off of mansfield where all the cool bands are.

A good friend of mine Josh Pruett who also happens to be a part of "The Those Guys", is having a child with is wife Amanda. Something I always like to do is create a painting for good friends to enjoy. So I picked up my brushes (after a long hiatus) and painted this. Congratulations Josh and Amanda, I can't wait to meet baby Catherine!

A dream above concept cover

So I have been working on a follow up book on my beloved Gulliver Williams for a while. I have passed around ideas in my head when it hit me last night what I needed to do. So rather than let the inspiration pass, I drew this to keep me inspired on the goal ahead. I WILL have a new book for comic-con 2009 if it kills me! So here is the concept cover for the upcoming short book. Format will most likely be 5"x5" just like the previous book. Thought I would share!

Completed tank tops for LUNARC

So even though my tank tops have been completed for about a couple weeks now, I realized in between bringing the clothes to the mythology boutique, and listing new brooches online, I never took photos of the finished product! So here they are! All brooches on the "walk about" tank top are unique, vintage brooches so this is just one of the many that would come with the tank on purchase.

Artwork Published in "Rage" Magazine

Check it out! My artwork was published in a local magazine called "Rage". The boutique that I am in was featured in the magazine, and being that my artwork and clothing is in there, so was my art.
